There are over 9 times as many electric vehicles (EV) compared to public EV charging ports. Through additionally tapping into the private EV charging port network, Photon’s mobile application increases the general supply by connecting EV owners with both public and private EV charging ports.
Private EV charging port owners are incentivized by monetizing their otherwise unused infrastructure. Our commission-based app displays all chargers, provides optimized directions and grants you the opportunity to reserve your slot, so we can ensure you can charge your EV, when and where you need to.
Photon enables EV users to gain access to the untapped private charger network in addition to the public chargers. This addition improves the proximity of chargers and availability, thus ensuring that you always find a charger.
Photon enables you to filter by the type of charger (private/public), the charging speed and current availability.
Private chargers can be booked ahead of time to ease the frustuation of finding an available charger when your battery is already low. Users simply click on their desired charger, specify the starting time and duration of the charge and the estimated price and possible availability appear.
Once booked you can simply navigate to your current booking or view future bookings in the bookings portal.
